CEO dismisses EVM tampering claims Hyderabad, Dec 12 (INN): Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Rajath Kumar has refuted the allegation of some of the political parties that the EVMs were tamperred to support the ruling TRS party. He said that the EVM tampering is absolutely "Zero" as there is no chance of tampering EVM.
He said, all the guidelines has been following by the Election Commission of India right from the mock polling till the EVMs machines in strong room (which includes both used and non-used EVMs separately).
Speaking to press persons, today, the Chief Electoral officer also rejected the allegations made by some political parties that 26 lakh voters names has been removed and they have not been allowed to vote. He said the number is not in lakhs but may be a few thousand. He said it is the responsibility of the citizens also to check their names in the list. He appealed to the missing voters and also the new voters to enroll themselves, they are getting another opportunity.
