Man kills father over chicken Adilabad, Nov 11 (INN): A dispute between a 27-year-old man and his father over cooking chicken ended in the latter being killed at Babapur village, Kowtala mandal in Adilabad district. According to Sub-Inspector Mohammed Sajeed Pasha, Saidam Rajesh had come home after work in an intoxicated state, bringing along a chicken with him. He asked his father Saidam Pentaiah (55), to cook the chicken for dinner. Pentaiah used to take of the cooking and household chores, after his wife died and his sons wife deserted him some months ago.
Pentaiah, being tired after a hard days work, refused. Rajesh, already intoxicated by liquor, grew angry at the refusal and started an argument with his father. As words between the two flew back and forth, tempers too arose, to the point where Rajesh picked a sharp knife and attacked his father. The attack left deep gashes in his fathers neck and back of the head, leaving him bleeding profusely. Hearing his cries of pain, villagers rushed to his help and summoned a 108 ambulance. He died while being shifted to hospital. In the melee, Rajesh however managed to flee the spot. Police have registered a case against him under section 302 IPC and are trying to nab him. A case has been registered and took up further investigations to nab absconding Rajesh.
