Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Hyd Hyderabad, May 8 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, emphasized the danger of religious ignorance, which he believes can lead to violent behavior. He highlighted that religion and God are not synonymous with violence, and those who incite such ignorance are creating problems.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower, a temple being constructed in Kokapet with the support of the state government and Sri Krishna Gau Sevamandali donations on Monday.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister expressed his delight at being in a spiritual atmosphere, emphasizing that while people worship different gods, they are all connected by the belief in one God. He praised the Hare Krishna Foundation's Akshaya Patra program, which donates food to the poor, saying that it can only be successful with sincerity. The Chief Minister also lauded the foundation's efforts in supporting the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed Hyderabad's development, highlighting the ongoing construction of the Hare Krishna temple as a significant milestone. He announced that Rs.25 crores will be allocated to support the temple's construction. Finally, he called for prayers for universal peace and commended the benefits of music therapy for those seeking peace of mind. The Chief Minister also praised the construction of the Yadadri temple, as well as the ongoing development of the Vemulawada and Kondagattu temples.
