There is nothing in the ‘jana gana mana…national anthem’ for Andhra / Telugu people to celebrate or proud of. Even though the anthem was written and tuned in Madanapalli by Rabindranath Tagore, so what! Rabindranath Tagore is another illiterate guy who labeled our largest ethnic and linguistic group as Dravidians, whereas he made a special mention of minority Punjabis, Sindhis, Oriyans etc. Just like many great people in India, Rabindranath Tagore knew nothing about the existence of different ethnic groups and languages below Vindhyas. It is a shame on Rabindranath Tagore. I advice Mr. Kuchibhotla Anand and associates to do something else that makes Andhra / Telugu people proud. May be it is time to rewrite the national anthem representing all the ethnic groups and languages in India.
