| Actually the addition should be with respect to the Shop keeper i.e. 70+5 = 75.
3+2 = 5 wrt waiter.
If we divide the 70 among the three equally it will be 70/3 = 23.333333333333....
during rounding off all get benefited.

Its is very simple you should not add Rs.2/- but you should deduct from Rs.75/-

very simple. 24*3=[Bill amount]70+2[with waiter].
and now they paid 72 only and they have their 1 rupee in their own pocket

if they get back Rs.5/ as discount, then each members contribution is 23.33 only , not 24/..
add one rupee given by waiter then 24.33
24.33x3=73+2 =75
got ur rupee..
