| Great Article! Thanks to Sarat garu!!
Ravi Talsani garu,
Nice to see you here! I think the reasons are:
There is a Guinnes book - as you know, Guinnes is a surname of a person, but there is no Talsani Book or Pinninti book - what I mean is - if we don't have a book of records that the world can read, how the world will know about these things?
There is a Noble prize - but there is no Subbarao Prize or Patel prize. If we, Indians can setup a prize with 10 million dollar prize money, then, the the world will know about us!
We must re-publish this in English - I will send an email to TP.com team to translate it in to English, so that the world can read it.
We all need to spend money (not just earning) - if any one of you can come forward to start an industry or to develop an idea / product out of Indian technology / knowledge, I am ready to support it. I am sure, we are already in the right direction.
First, can we all make India a hunger free country? I don't mean to start another charity organisation. Let's think of an aggressive business model, which should sustain, profitable and should be able to provide food for every Indian. If anybody has an idea to start a food based industry - which will help the farmers and the poor in the cities at the same time - I am ready to invest.
Thanks to all and thanks to Sarat garu once again. Thanks to TP.com!

Posted by: Dr. Raghotham Reddy Pinninti At: 19, Jul 2006 0:42:02 AM IST Nice article.
Inspite of all those accomplishments in the past why we were not able to lead the world on the technology front is a big question.
Why could a country like US could lead the world through innovation and we being pioneers in many fields still lag behind?
Is it because we had the creative brains but were poor in cashing on it?
Is it because we had the ideas but did'nt properly put use to them?
Is it because of lack of a collective vision to make proper use of all these super indian brains ?
