Radish Chutney

Radish : 2
Coriander Seeds : 2 tbsp
Red chillies : 20 to 30
Tamarind Pulp : 3 tbsp
Ginger Paste : 3 tbsp
Asafoetida : ¼ tsp
Mustard Seeds : ¼ tsp
Cumin Seeds : ¾ tsp
Split Black Gram : 1 tsp
Split Bengal Gra : 1 tsp
Sugar : 1 tbsp
Salt : To Taste
Oil : 2 to 4 tbsp
Coriander Leaves : 1 tbsp (chopped)
Curry Leaves : 2 springs
Preparation:

Wash the Radish cleanly and remove the upper layer and cut into cubes. Now heat the pan n add 1tbsp oil when the oil is heated add red chillies, coriander seeds, blackgram, Bengal gram and fry till the colour of the red chillies is changed. Remove from the gas and keep a side, now heat the pan again and add 1tsp oil and add the radish cubes and cook them till they are soften.
When the radish is cooked remove from the gas, now add the mixture of red chilies, soften radish, salt, sugar, tamarind pulp, ginger and grind it till all the ingredients become smooth paste. Add water accordingly if required so. Remove the paste in a vessel.
Take a pan and add oil, asafetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black gram, Bengal gram, red chili, curry leaves fry all the ingredients. Add this mixture to the radish chutney and garnish with chopped coriander.
Serve with steaming rice or paratha or chapatti.
