Articles: My Experience | The Sleep - Mr. Somraj Yerrabhaneni

The golden moon shone brightly upon the silver sands
The vast ocean lay before me serene and grand
The distant waters sway in the gentle breeze
Me alone in a canoe hoping that time would freeze.
I lay alone in the canoe out in the shallow sea under the moonlit sky watching the distant city lights through the misty haze as they die A qauter mile from the shore and cents of miles away from my worries watching those falling stars that fell like ripe cherries.
I lay there feeling the caress of the great mother nature
lulled by the calmness and the gentle sway of the canoe on water
and the chilling silence broken by the occasional surf
I slept like infant cuddled warmly in its mothers lap.
It was so cozy that i think even my soul slept with me
I dont know how many hours have passed over the sea
The state of Unconsiousness put my every musle to sleep
The wearyness that dragged my eye lids into drowziness so deep.
I was woken up suddenly by the tug of the boat
Felt the Warm rays of the Sun setting in afloat
I opened my eyes and saw the clear sunlit sky above me
Before i could stretch my self a whip of fear creaped into me.
I just then gathered my memory how i fell asleep in the canoe the last night
And now i did not have the courage to raise my head over the boat's brim to have a sight
Of the yonder place where i might be, Wiered thoughts of being taken adrift
Into the deep sea or farther it could be, I prayed for a dolphin to come and give me alift
Gathering all my courage I took a look out of the boat's brim
Only to find that the canoe has drifted safely to the shore's rim
I could still feel the thumping of my heart and shock in every vein
But for one moment i felt that i want this experience again.
I felt that I want this this experince again because of
The great mother who lulled me to such deep sleep which i missed for so long
For the care she took on watching me the whole night long
For having Put me back into safety after the lull
And finally gently warning me of danger by inflicting fear in to my hull
