One day one of my colleague (marketing) was asked to step down from marketing side and do some clerical job by our boss. Because he had miscommunicated with him (Boss). On that day I was not in the city. When I came back I was informed that, he had been degraded from marketing division.
Let me tell the scenario, the poor guy had excellent communication skills, but he was very afraid of sir and could'nt talk before sir.
When I asked him, why was he degraded, he told me that due to miscommunication this all happened. He asked me to help him out. I said wait for time to come. After that you will definetely be called back to the department. He asked me whether i can't do it now. It would have been done, but I said onething to him, If I go & ask sir, Sir will say that u have come on his behalf (vakaltha puchukunava ani antarani)& also I might get scolded for talking. By saying so I asked him to wait for few days
After 2 days I was with sir discussing about marketing issues. I took the opurtunity, because that was the right time to raise the issue. When I asked sir about the colleague. The answer came as I expected (as written in the above para). I said only onething to sir, 'He has an excellent communication skills & has a good rapport with customers & he best fits in the job.
My sir simply said we will talk to him on the next day & asked me remind of that person.
The next working day, he came back to the marketing department.
In this way i helped my colleague to the post which he best deserves
bye
