Telangana Cultural Association(www.telanganaculture.org) has organised Telangana night cum Indian 59th republic day celebrations in Sunnyvale California.The event was a grand success and was attended by several telugu people from Bay Area. The evnt took place at Grand Indian Buffet, Sunnyvale on Jan 25th night 2008.
Though it was raining continuously, people from all over bay area have attended the Night with lot of enthusiasm and cheer, children were dressed in indian/Telangana traditional way.
Mr.Buchanna Gajula mentioned that while addressing the gathering that this is the 2nd year we are celebrating Telangana Night & Republic day, he explained how constitution of India is written by Dr. B R ambedkar, who is the father of Indian constitution and handover to the president of India Dr Babu Rajendra Prasad. He requested all the partcipent families to introduce themself and share their views on Republic day.
Biksham Palabindela, Secy of TCA has done planning and arrangements for the event and also planned brain teasing games and quizes about indian culture and constitution for kids.
