Drumstick Curry

Ingredients:
Medium size Potatoes : 3 (cut into pieces
Bones with meat : 200 gms
Drumstick (cut into medium size pieces and fried ) : 3
Onion finely sliced and fried : 2 midium size, thinly sliced
Ginger ` garlic paste : 1 tsp
Turmeric powder : ¼ tsp
Red chilli Powder : 1 tsp
Zeera powder :

1 tsp

Dhania powder  

1 tsp

Zeera - rye mixed   ½ tsp
Curry leaves   6
oil   5 tsp
Curd   ½ cup
Tamarind pulp   ¼ cup
Salt   To taste
 
Preparation:
 
In a pressure cooker heat oil. Add Zeera-rye and curry patta. When they crackle add the onions. Fry till golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and lower the heat. Put turmeric powder, chilli powder, zeer powder, dhania powder, meat and salt. Fry a little before adding curd. After frying for a little while add tamarind pulp, potato, 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 8 minutes till the meat is done. Open the lid, add the fried drum sticks and cook till the gravy thickens (if there is not enough water for drumsticks to cook add a little water).
