Put 2 teaspoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the cinnamon, khus-khus, cloves, pepper, coriander seeds and red chillies for a few minutes. Put the onions straight on the gas until they become black. Remove the top skin. Put 2 teaspoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the coconut for 1 minute. Mix all these ingredients and garlic and prepare a smooth paste.
For the Vegetable
Cut the tomatoes into big pieces, add 4 teacups of water and cook. When soft, prepare a soup by passing through a sleve. Put the ghee in a vessel, add the potatoes and fry till they are soft. Add the paste, tomato soup, boiled green peas and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
