It seems the BJP leaders have forgotton some facts in which they are involved out of over-enthusiasm. If the Congress-DMK ties are unprincipled, what kind of principles did the BJP as with DMK till recently? Why the BJP tried to woo Jayalalithaa? On what principles? Projecting Prime Ministerial Candidate may be an indication, not only faith and solidarity within the party, but also feudalistic attitude and undemocratic. V.P.Singh, P.V.Narasimha Rao, Chandra Sekhar, Deve Gowda and IK Gujral, weren’t Prime Ministerial Candidates, then. They were elected democratically elected by the MPs on the floor of the house. The BJP too has developed a tendency of deciding the Chief Ministerial Candidates, with the exception of Chattisgarh, in recently concluded elections. And the BJP also developed ‘Sops-Culture’, just like other parties. Hence, the BJP makes no difference with the others. All are power mongers. It’s bulging may not be the real strength. Advani, once again justified the Hindutva hasn’t given up and went on saying, “over vision of cultural nationalism (meaning Hindutva) gained public support”. Hence, wherever, if the defeat or debacle is certain, the BJP, once again bring back the Ayodhya issue from the cold storage, now and then delivering some comments keeping it alive. It’s time for PV to enter politics once again. If all the five Former Prime Ministers like VP Singh, Chandra Sekhar, PV Narasimha Rao, Deve Gowda, IK Gujral comes under one roof, there will be an effective outcome in the forthcoming elections. If NDA with 22-parties can run the government for full term, why not others? If they are determined, basing on common agenda. Sonia Gandhi need except the moral responsibility for the recent debacle in the recent elections. It is better for her to realize that she is no match to Vajpayee. Morever, if all the five Former Prime Ministers and the Prime Minister are present in the election campaign, it will be considered as most wonderful dynamic exercise. The People of India could get a lot of enlightenment on several issues from the heat of campaigns. Major shifts could occur in terms of verdict and highest voter-turn out of polling could result.
