10. Delivering the right speech for the right occassion. For eg : on independence day the principal can highlight the importance of Persistence, Sacrifice, Non-violence, Leadership skills, truthfull ness, based on which qualities, Mahatma Gandhi succeeded in getting independence to India in 1947.
11. The principal should lead by example. He should have the following qualities like, Punctuality, Hard working nature, Effective Communication skills, Discipline, Corrupt free mind, Courage, Inter personal skills as he has to tacke with people from different walks of life, viz the management, the parents, Government officilas, the students, teachers and the non-teaching staff, Clean habits, scientific temper, Patiency, Problem solving skills, Counselling skills, and above all to cope up with the work related pressure.
12. In the non-academic side, a)collection of academic fee promptly to run the institution is one of the most important duties, and the other responsibilities include b) the maintainance of school's infrastructure and any other facilities as required by the students, c) to see that the school buses run in time and the drivers are efficient and experienced, other wise accidents may occur as occurred in Gujarat this year during the final examinations.d)In the case of residential institutions, the principal has to see that the lodging and boarding facilities are well maintained and he should counsel the wardens for peaceful hostel life of students.
Education is defined as 'the mental and moral development'. According to Swami Vivekananda, 'education is the manifestation of perfection already in man'. This sentence solely defines the role of a principal in shaping the future citizens of this great country as he is the head of an educational institute.
