Here is my dream…….. A devotee by name Sreenu in Palle Kona a remote village of Andhra Pradesh wishes to have a darshan of the Lord of Seven Hills. His mother tells me the previous night that he was named after the Lord. His parents – Kamala and Narasayya - are not aware of the means and ways to reach Tirumala and the costs involved. They approached Sreenu’s class teacher – Ananth – to get the guidance. Ananth takes them to the nearby TTD Office (in Eluru the District Head Quarter of West Godavari): As they reached the TTD Office they find four queues and Ananth chose the short one and ask them to join. As they approached the counter manned by a TTD employee. The employee greets them and asks, “What service do you want from us? When do you want to have the Darshan?” Ananth said: Sir, this family is a very poor family living on daily wages in Palle Kona village. Please find out if there is any possibility to enroll them for the scheme “Help poor have Darshan” The TTD Employee (Vishwam) says: Yes, under the “Help Poor Have Darshan” we have got for this month two offers for a two donors for two families. The dates are 18 and 19th May. Ananth: What benefits do they get under this scheme sir, Vishwam: Free to and fro rail tickets (III AC) as per the donor’s capacity, free accommodation on the hills for one day and darshan on 18th or 19th. All that they need is a proof that they have white ration card and a certificate from the Village Panchayat Officer of their source of income. Please fill in this form and get a copy of the white ration card and the certificate from the Village Panchayat Officer. They can come on any working day from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. Then I will take their Iris identity and give them the Donor Pass and Devotee Permanent Identity (DPI) card. But please you have to confirm whether you are willing to go and which date. Ananth: Sure Sir, they will go on 19th May. Sir, may we know the Donor Vishwam: Yes but the Donor opted for Gupta Daana so I the system has hidden that. Ananth: Sir the Donor is a real Devotee of the Lord. May Lord bless him with more power to do such Gupta Daanaas. I too want to have a Darshan sir, on 19th. Kamala: what a surprise people can donate this way too? The Donor is a real devotee. Yes, Yes joined Sreenu and Narasayya.
