23.Working regular hours and recreating daily are simple concepts
24.They are hard for some of us because that requires ! PERSONAL CHANGE.
25.They are possible since we all have the power to choose to do them.
26.In considering the issue of overtime I am reminded of my oldest son.
27.When he was toddler, if people were visiting the apartment, he’d not fall asleep no matter how long the visit, and no matter what time of the day it was.
28.He would fight off sleep until the visitors left.
29.AIt was as if he was afraid that he would miss some things.
30.Once visitors are left he would go to sleep.
31.But in this time, however, he was OVER TIRED, and would scream thro’ half the night with nightmares.
32.He, my wife and I, all paid the price for his fear of missing out.
33.Perhaps some people put on such long hours because they don’t want to miss any thing when they leave the office.
34.The trouble with this is that events will NEVER STOP HAPPENING.
35.That’s life.
36.This happens 24 hours a day.
37.Allowing for little rest is not untimely practical.
38.So take a nap.
39.They will happen while you ‘re asleep but you’ll have energy to catch up when you wake.
40.Even when you are gone for good, things will still happen.
41.No one is indispensable, it may take a while to get replacement but you will be replaced.
42.”Hence”, LOVE YOUR JOB BUT NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR COMPANY.
