Vain bid to burgle Jr NTR's house
A futile attempt to burgle the house of film actor Junior NTR was made on Monday night by some unidentified intruder.
According to police the intruder jumped the compound wall and entered the house of Jr NTR at Road No 37 in Jubilee Hills. He was reportedly carrying a gun with him.
As the alarm equipment installed at the house got activated, the security personnel rushed to the spot and tried to nab the burglar who by the time fled on a motorcycle, which had no number plate.
A complaint has been lodged with the Jubilee Hills police. Investigations are in progress.
The police later seized the footage of closed circuit camera from the adjacent house which belongs to Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal and were trying to collect clues. Following the incident, Jr NTR has stepped up the security around his house.
This is the second such incident in less than 45 days. On September 27, an attempt to rob the house of another film actor, Mahesh Babu, was also made in Jubilee Hills.
