Group rivalries behind Praveen's stabbing London: Three Indians have been charged with the attempted murder of Praveen Reddy, an MBA student here, who was critically stabbed on Friday night in Newham.
The Metropolitan Police on Sunday said that the three are: Amareshwar Arava, 25, Sai Kishore Balguri, 25 and Nishanth Puttapaka, 23.
'We are not treating the incident as racially motivated at this time,' a police spokesperson has said. The three will appear at the Thames Magistrates' court on Monday, the police said. Earlier, 11 people were arrested.
26-year-old Praveen Reddy was stabbed in the neck, chest and abdomen several times and thrown out of the apartment where he lived in Britain's Hampshire county.
Son of a real estate dealer, Reddy is currently in Royal London Hospital.
A quarrel between two groups of students hailing from Andhra Pradesh is believed to have led to the attack. Initial reports said Reddy and his friends had a party in the apartment till late hours.
