Devineni Chandrasekhar to join YSRC Hyderabad: The 'Operation Akarsh' started by YS Jaganmohan Reddy had a telling effect on TDP with more and more desertions taking place with each passingday. The latest entry to YSRCP is Devineni Chandrasekhar, brother of TDP leader from Vijayawada Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao.
Chandrasekhar has announced that he would join the YSR bandwagon on May 24. 'I'm attracted towards the schemes launched by the late YSR. The Arogyasri, free power, subsidy to ryots, fee reimbursement etc. are all good schemes. I would join Jagan in his mission to fulfill his father's ideals' Chandrasekhar told.
Chandrasekhar hopes to get ticket from Penamaluru constituency in Krishna district to contest the 2014 polls. But he said he had not been given any assurance from YSRCP president.
He was told that the name of the candidate would be decided depending upon the work he does there. On a specific query that how can he join a party against which his brother was waging a war, Chandrasekhar replied, 'In politics, everyone has his own way of thinking . None of the corruption
charges against Jagan have been proved so far, he said.
Several seniors from the TDP ' including Umareddy Venkateswarlu, Mysoora Reddy, Kalpana,Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, KE brothers, Pattipati Pullarao, Kambhala Srinu are said to be waiting to cross over to YSRCP.
