Sutti Velu dies of heart attack Kurumaddali Lakshmi Narasimha Rao, more popularly known as 'SuttiVelu' on silver screen expired in the early hours of Sunday in Chennai due to heart attack.
He was suffering from illness for quite sometime and undergoing treatment for the same at a local hospital in Chennai. He was 65 and survived by 3 daughters and a son.
Sutti Velu(born 7 August 1947) is a very popular South Indian Film comedian, who acted in more than 200 films. Suthivelu started his film career with "Mudda Mandaaram" (Telugu), and acted in many of Jandhtala's films, which made him famous.
Suttivelu's comedy spanned from 1980 to 2000 in Tollywood. He is famous for timing his dialogues and expressions, particularly in director Jandhyala's comedy films.
His collaboration with Sutti Veerabhadrarao is very popular and the duo was nicknamed Sutti Janta. He bagged Nandi Award for Best Supporting actor for Vandemataram in 1985.
Suttivelu is married to Lakshmi Rajyam and has four children, three girls and a boy. Entire tollywood fraternity expressed shock at the sudden demise of the versatile actor.
