Cong candidate, cine fight master GV attacked
Visakhapatnam: Tollywood fight master cum actor GV Sudhakar Naidu was allegedly attacked by goons on Monday night. Sudhakar Naidu who recently joined Congress party in the presence of Chiranjeevi is contesting for Gajuwaka Assembly constituency .
According to sources some unidentified miscreants attacked GV on Monday night with iron rods. Badly injured Sudhakar Naidu fell unconscious and was admitted to hospital.
After a meeting with party workers on Monday, GV and few of his close aides were heading to the Congress party office. When the vehicle reached the Radio Receiving Station, four people who covered their faces with masks smashed his car wind shields with iron rods and later attacked Naidu.
The unidentified people chased the actor's car with two wheelers and hit them with iron rods. The goons eloped from the spot then. On information police reached the spot and GV was immediately rushed to a hospital in Gajuwaka and later shifted Naidu with bleeding injuries to a private hospital in Vizag as his condition was critical.
Sources said that the attack was a fall out of political rivalry while some claimed that it was strictly personal and no political grudge was involved behind the attack.
