Raasi blessed with a baby girl
It has been quite a while since anyone has seen the noted actress Raasi in silver screen.Raasi is one of the top heroine and she paired with almost all star hero's during her heydays.
Now the pulp beauty turned as proud mother. Raasi delivered a baby girl Friday night in a Chennai Hospital. Both the newborn and Raasi are healthy and hale according to the sources close to the actress.
Raasi began her career as child artiste. 'Subhakankshalu' was her first break as an actress and dared to play a negative character in 'Nijam'. She even began doing Item Numbers when the down trend in her career began.
The dance numbers in films like 'Samudram' and 'Venky' have been appreciated the audience. Raasi married director Nivas on 2004 from then she allotted her total time to family. Their love blossomed when they were together for the film 'Oka Pellam Muddu and Iddaru Pellalu Vaddu'.
Raasi later turned as dubbing artist and she has dubbed for artiste Nadia in 'Mirchi' which features Prabhas, Anushka and Richi Gangopadhyay in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Raasi also sizzled in few TV shows. She also own a kindergarten school.
Though Raasi is a Telugu girl she has made a strong impact in Kollywood and Sandalwood with many films. Lately she has reduced her presence onscreen as she focused on her family and now that she has become a mommy it is going to be a while before she gets back.
