Naidu to have three luxury convoys HYDERABAD: Cash-starved Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will have not one but three more luxurious sets of SUVs in his convoy. If the first cavalcade of vehicles will be placed at Hyderabad, the second one will be kept at Vijayawada and the third at Tirupati.
According to sources, the state government has already purchased eight Toyota Fortuners to replace existing Tata Safaris in Naidu's convoy in Hyderabad. Soon, another two sets of vehicles would be acquired for Naidu's fleet of vehicles to be separately used at Vijayawada and Tirupati.
'Once the work on construction of new capital city begins, Naidu will be visiting Vijayawada and Guntur frequently. Hence, the government has already ordered one more set of eight SUVs to be used in the chief mMinisters' convoy, which will be stationed at Vijayawada,' official sources said.
