Actress Anjana dies at age of 29
Actress Haanii Shivraj Anjana, who played a small role in Karthi's Biriyani has died on 13th April, 2015 due to cancer. She is just 29. Haanii was an Malaysian actress and model from the Malaysian Indian origin.She is well known for acting in Kollywood blockbuster movie, Biriyani. Beside that she also well known for her acting in Malaysian Tamil language local movie, Appalam.
Haanii played a scene with hero Karthi in Biryani movie, she is one of the three girls with whom Karthi flirts in the car show room scene in the flick. She has acted in a lot of Malaysian movies and is a multi talented girl. The actress started her career as a television anchor in 2010.
She has been suffering from cancer for a long time and unfortunately she has succumbed to deadly decease. Her funeral was held at PJ Kampung Tunku residence.
Director Venkat Prabhu who made 'Biryani' paid rich tributes to the Young Heroine. "Haanii's confidence was an envy of many whom she had known. Her sweet & kind manners were nothing less than a well brought up lady. It was my honor to have had the opportunity to work with her in my film, Biryani. She was a talented artiste. I am deeply saddened by her loss. My deepest condolences," he told.
This news came as shock to Tamil and Malayalam film industry. People from different departments took to their social media pages and expressed their heart-felt condolences and offered tearful farewell to Haani Shivraj.
