Rs 2K fake notes seized, six arrested Hyderabad, Nov 26 (INN): Ibrahimpatnam Police on Saturday busted a fake currency racket and arrested six involved in the case.
About 106 fake currency notes of Rs. 2000 were seized from the gang. The police also seized two xerox machines and other material. The arrests were made under Ibrahimpatnam police station limits in Rachakonda police commissionerate.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat informed the reporters that the gang first started making fake currency notes of lesser denominations and then started making fake notes Rs 2,000. Sainath, 28, a butcher by profession, is kingpin in the case and conspired with G. Anjaiah, C. Satyanarayana, K. Sridhar Goud and A. Vijay Kumar to make the fake currency notes.
