Provide MSP for paddy: Jeevan Reddy Jagtial, Dec 6 (INN): Deputy leader of Congress Legislature Party in Assembly T Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday demanded the state government to provide minimum support price (MSP) for paddy farmers.
The Congress MLA visited the Jagtial Agriculture Market and interacted with the farmers. He also inspected the facilities at the market yard.
Speaking to media persons later, Jeevan Reddy said that the farmers were struggling to get good MSP for their agriculture produce and demanded the government to ensure the same. He said that the government should take enough measure to ensure that the farmers sell their produce without any trouble at the market yard. He warned that he would stage protest along with farmers if workers were subjected to inconvenience at the market yard.
