Regional News: Kadapa | PRP will come to power soon: Chiru
Kadapa, Aug 14 (INN): Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Saturday expressed optimism that his party will soon rule the state.
Talking to media persons after visiting the Ashram of Sri Potuluri Veera Brahmendra Swami during his tour of YSR district (formerly Kadapa), the actor-turned-politician said that Sri Potuluri Veera Brahmendra Swami had already earlier prophesised that the Praja will rule the state.
The PRP chief said that the Swamiji had prophesised that the common people will rule the state. Mr Chiranjeevi said that his party is the Praja (people) Rajyam (rule), a party of the common man.
Mr Chiranjeevi said that the words of Veera Brahmendra Swamy had always come true and it was his firm belief that the Praja Rajyam will soon come to power in the future. Responding to allegations raised against his Blood Bank, Mr Chiranjeevi said that it is below his dignity to even think of selling blood. He said that the persons making the allegations should be ashamed over their actions.
The PRP chief further reminded that his charitable organisation was awarded the Best Voluntary Blood Bank Award. He said that he was also accorded the ‘Padmabushan’ by the Government for his contribution in the form of the blood bank.
