RTC Chairman inspects facilities at MGBS Hyderabad, May 5 (INN): Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana visited Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station here on Thursday.
The RTC Chairman paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding the statue. Then he planted tree in the premises of bus station. He inspected all the platforms and enquired the passengers regarding the facilities provided in the bus station. Then he inspected Toilets and buses. He boarded bus and enquired the driver regarding upkeep.
Satyanarayana also reviewed the development and modernisation works which are going on with an expenditure of Rs. 9 Crores. He also explained that his motive was to bring the corporation into profits. He is interested in operation of services on Long distance routes of Andhra Pradesh by making Inter-state agreement between Telangana and AP. Priority will be given to the Passengers facilities rather than income, he said.
