Three youth injured in bomb explosion Kadapa, Oct 25 (INN): Three teenagers were injured, one of them seriously, when a bomb exploded while they were cleaning a recently rented house at Erramukkapalli in Kadapa district on Monday. According to Inspector Shauqat Ali, Rafeeq, Toufiq and Abbas, all believed to be around 18, were employed to clean a house taken on rent by a television showroom owner. A family had been living on the first floor of the house located opposite HDFC Bank between Sandhya Junction and Erramukkapally Circle, and had left some bags behind when they vacated the premises three months ago.
The three young labourers were shifting these bags, when a bomb inside one of the bags exploded. Police later discovered that three more bombs were present inside the bags. The explosion left Rafeeq injured seriously, while Toufiq and Abbas received minor injuries. The injured were rushed to hospital by the neighbours and were presently undergoing treatment. Police managed to defuse the remaining three bombs. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
