Two newspaper employees killed in road mishap Rajhamundry, Nov 18 (INN): Two employees of a leading vernacular daily were killed in a road accident which has occurred at Rameshwarampeta village of Rangampeta mandal in East Godavari district early on Thursday. According to Inspector Venkatesham, the mishap occurred when driver of a speeding Maruti Omni, loaded with newspapers, lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve at at Rameshwarampeta.
The speeding van careened and hit a tree, killing the driver and the passenger on the spot. The victims were identified as Kiran Kumar Reddy (29) and Srinivas (27), both believed to be residents of Dhavaleswaram. They were employees of the Telugu daily Andhra Jyothy. Police shifted victims to the government hospital for autopsy after registering a case under section 304-A. Further investigations are on.
