Kadasilpa mishap: Balaraju visits hospital Visakhapatnam, April 19 (INN): Tribal Welfare Minister P Balaraju on Tuesday visited the Government Hospital in Narsipatnam to enquire about the health condition of those who were left injured seriously when a van fell into a stream near Kadasilpa under Kothapalem Panchayat on Monday.
After enquiring the victim's health with the doctors, the Minister stated that he had directed the health officials to provide the best possible medical care to the injured persons. Mr Balaraju said the 16 persons who had been seriously injured have been shifted to King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam for better treatment.
Meanwhile, the KGH Superintendent stated that the doctors are providing emergency treatment to all the injured. Their condition is stable and they are recovering slowly, he stated.
Seven villagers of Gannavaram in Chintapalli mandal were reportedly killed and about 15 others were injured when a van fell into a stream near Kadasilpa late on Monday night.
According to reports, the accident took place when 40 villagers of Gannavaram were returning from Chintapalli after receiving Housing Scheme payment.
