Tourist bus overturns at Srisailam Kurnool: A private bus carrying tourists from Orissa overturned near the Toll Gate of Srisailam Devasthanam on Friday. Three persons were injured severely and were shifted to hospital.
Collector Ram Sankar Naik and Law Minister Erasu Pratap Reddy, reached the site and supervised rescue operations. The tourists are from Rayagada district in Orissa. After visiting Visakhapatnam, they reached Srisailam.
It was after visiting Sri Bramarambha-Mmallikarjuna Swamy temple that they resumed their travel towards Rameswaram. The driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a turn at the Toll gate.
