Makineni Pedarathaiah quits YSR Congress Guntur: YSRCP leader and former minister Makineni Pedarathaiah on Saturday alleged that the party leader was not accessible to the party men. Announcing his resignation from the YSRCP Central Governing Committee membership, he criticised the party leadership.
Speaking to newsmen here at his residence, he said that only Odarpu Yatra was being organised in the party and party affairs took a backseat.
Makineni said that he had no intentions of continuing in the party though only the party president was authorised to take action against him as he was the member of Central Governing Committee.
He said that YSRCP district convener Marri Rajasekhar's act of announcing his suspension on Friday was not valid. Refusing to say which party he would be joining, he said that he had offers from many political parties.
He said that he would lead a normal life for the time being and had no immediate plans to join any party.
