Congress anti-farmer, says Harish Rao Warangal, March 6: Describing the Congress governments in the State and at the Centre as anti-farmer, TRS on Tuesday said people will teach them a lesson.
'Farmers are not getting MSP for cotton and chili and the weighing procedure is faulty as well,' TRS leader T Harish Rao said after visiting Enumamula agriculture market here.
He flayed the Congress government for claiming farmer-friendly without putting the slogan in practice.
Scanty rainfall and erratic power supply have taken the toll on the crop yield and the government is not in a position to give MSP.
The State should provide MSP to all agricultural produce and prevent malpractices at weighing in the market, he told the officials at the market yard.
District party convernor, Peddi Sudarshan Reddy and other leaders accompanied Harish Rao.
