Prakasam Police take to Facebook to curb crime Ongole, December 7. The Prakasam police have taken to the social media platform Facebook to deal with the cases related to crimes against women and children.
Victims of woman harassment or ragging are now lodge their complaints instantly on the official Facebook page of AP Police - Prakasam and they need not to go all the way to police stations.
The police have launched a campaign to encourage the victims of such cases to lodge their complaints through Facebook.
Facebook, most popular social networking site, allows users to create personal profiles. They can then connect with one another, upload photos and share links. The site boasts more than one billion active users.
At first log in to Facebook. Then go to the page of AP Police - Prakasam. Lodge the complaints with the case details in that page. The Prakasam district SP Ch. Srikanth assured the quick action against the offenders.
