AP CM announces projects for Prakasam district Ongole, December 15. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced several projects for Prakasam district at a meeting held at Kondepi on Monday.
He assured that he would sanction Rs.60 crore for the construction of Paletipalli reservoir and Rs. 20 crore for Marripadu drinking water scheme.
He said that he would sanction funds for Kondepi outer ring road. He said he would set up airport near ongole.
He said that the governement will develop Donakonda as a mega industrial corridor to set up industries and added that the government would set up a solar city in the district.
If Ramayapatnam port is developed, the district will develop. The government would lay six lane road from ichchapuram to Tada.
He said that industrialists are coming forward to set up industries in the district.
He said that 'though I am heading a bifurcated State now, I will not rest till Andhra Pradesh becomes a number one State in the country.'
