Jupally inaugurates WindStream facility Hyderabad, June 10 (INN): Established with the aim of introducing affordable and scalable renewable energy technologies for a global marketplace, WindStream Energy Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the first Manufacturing Facility in South Asia at Shamshabad here on Wednesday amidst prestigious dignitaries of the state.
In addition to their manufacturing facility inauguration, the WSTI officially launched their product, SolarMill- a hybrid renewable energy generating device, at the conference. Speaking on the occasion, Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said, 'Thank you Mr. Bates & Mr. Tangirala for bringing WindStream into India and Telangana. I hope you make Hyderabad a hub out of which your unique product, The SolarMill will be manufactured and exported.'
Speaking about the product, the President & CEO of WindStream Technologies Inc., Dan Bates said, 'The SolarMill is the world's most complete renewable energy generation device. Instead of a footprint dedicated to a singular solution, our engineers have designed a unique set of vertical axis wind turbines, added the highest quality solar panels, and a system of integrated electronics, to create a hybrid device with the highest energy density in the market.'
Addressing the attendees, Chief Guest Teegala Krishna Rao said, 'This is a great intitative by Wind Stream Technologies and it is heartening to see our Telangana progressing in every industry including the renewable energy sector' The product is an effective solution in markets where the natural resources available for wind or solar energy generation alone do not justify the investment. The SolarMill is designed to work in both on-grid and off-grid environments.
