Letter to PM Demanding Arrest Of Babhubali makers Makers of SS Rajamouli's upcoming film Baahubali-the conclusion have landed in an unexpected trouble for using the elephant in the film's shoot without taking prior permission.
Heritage Animal Task Force, An organization which fights for the Animal rights has reportedly sent a letter to Prime Minister Modi recently demanding action against the film producer Shobu yarlagadda, director Rajamouli and camera man Senthil and the owner and mahout of the elephant in this regard. In his letter the animal rights outfit asked to arrest the makers of the film.
In his letter the animal rights campaigner and Secretary VK Venkatachalam alleged that makers have used a jumbo elephant named Chirakkal Kalidasan for shoot and caused harm to the animal.
He alleged that Baahubali 2 team had used the elephant for showing the movement of the animal in graphics and said the animal was forced to stand amid the high power electric light.
The activist said there was no animal welfare officer presented at the venue of the film shooting and added that more than 50 people of the film team were making sounds while shooting the sequence causing high disturbances to the elephant throughout the shooting.
