Dhruva Star Questioned SC's Decision On National Anthem Its known that Supreme Court has recently ordered to play the national anthem in all cinema halls across the country before start of the movie. The court also stated that all the public who present in the cinema halls must rise and pay respect to the National Anthem. The decision was taken to instill the patriotism and nationalism among people.
Tamil actor Arvind Swamy who is playing key role in Ram Charan's upcoming film Dhruva has expressed some concerns on the decision. In his tweet, the handsome actor referred about infamous fire which broke out at a theatre in Delhi.
Arvind on his twitter account wrote, "With all due respects, Why should the national anthem be played before the start of a movie? Can anyone explain? I can understand playing the anthem where the country is represented or like a big sporting event with tens of thousands of ppl... Exits in theatres or in any place with so many people inside should not be blocked... anthem or no anthem, hope they review this decision. 1997, Uphaar, a very, very tragic incident... exits blocked... pl do not allow or encourage blocking of exits in public places/gatherings."
It remains to be seen if the tweet from Arvind will create furor in online.
