Suriya challenges Mahesh Babu
While celebrities across the world popularized ice bucket challenge, a lady from Hyderabad made rice bucket challenge popular.It is ice versus rice now.
The difference - the ice bucket comes only if one tries to duck the actual donation for charity. For rice - it is donation all the way.Not only celebrities, political figures also have participated in the sea of challenge.
Now the new type of challenge was emerged and it was titled as MY Tree challenge.The challenge was launched by Kerala megastar Mammootty by planting a sapling on one of his shooting locations. It is believed that he has challenged actors Mohanlal and Shahrukh Khan to accept the challenge within 24 hours.
'As you all know 'ALS Ice Bucket Challenge' is being viral online and offline media. I proudly kick start a novel concept called 'My Tree challenge'. I request all my friends from the Malayalam Film Industry and all Facebook friends to join me for the good cause and make this world a greener place to live in. I challenge Shah Rukh Khan from Bollywood, Vijay and Surya from Tamil Film Industry to plant a sapling and join this Eco revolution," Mammootty posted on his Facebook page.
Suriya took up the challenge and he challenged super star Mahesh Babu of Tollywood.
Taking the challenge, Surya said "Dear Mammootty sir, I take up "My Tree Challenge". Lot of happiness and this is very close to me. I would also like to nominate Mr. Aamir Khan, Mr. Sudeep, my another dear friend Mahesh Babu and all their fans and of course my fans too to support this wonderful cause. Thanks." Now, it remains to be seen whether Mahesh Babu accepts the challenge?
