Telugu young hero joins TRS party Telugu actor Jai Akash who starred in super hit film like "Anandam" " has joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party. Akash joined the TRS party on Sunday in the presence of Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy.
Along with the actor, several others joined the TRS and took the primary membership of the party during a programme at Film Chamber in the city. Nayini formally welcomed the actor into the party fold by presenting TRS kanduva.
However Akash said he has no plans to leave acting. "I've officially joined TRS party. I'd like to juggle between politics and films, so I have no plans of quitting acting. TRS government is planning to set up a cinema township and I'd like to do my bit to be part of it.'' Told Akash after joining the pink party.
Jai Akash, also known as Akash, acted mainly in Tamil and Telugu films. He began his career with Rojavaanam in Tamil and scored his first success with Srinu vaitla directorial Anandam in Telugu. After success of Anandam nothing worked for Akash and all his movie bitten dust at BO. In his latter career, he himself produced and directed several films.The actor is currently awaiting the release of Tamil film "Kadhalukku Kanillai".
