KRR Nostalgia: Polythene covers like snow hills! A.Vincent, one of the prominent cinematographers' of Southern Film Industry died on Wednesday' due to age related problems. Born on June 14' ,' 1928, A Vincent has been behind many landmark films. He worked for most of K Raghavendra Rao's commercial entertainers.
Director K. Raghavendra Rao, who shares a great rapport with him working for so many of his films was deeply saddened with his death. KRR recalled his working days with Vincent during Jagadheka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' film. KRR explained how Vincent showed polythene covers like snow hills in 'Andhaalalo Mahodayam' song in those days with his camera tricks.
KRR said: "Jagadheka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' movie is so beautiful only because of Vincent garu. He had shown every frame like a painting and exactly like what was in my mind. The greatness about him was that he had shown polythene covers like snow hills in 'Andhaalalo Mahodayam' song in those days. I can't digest that he is no more. I pray that his soul rests in peace."
Incidentally Vincent's last movie in Telugu is KRR directorial 'Annamaya'. After Annamaya, the veteran cinematographer chooses to retire and gave us two more wonderful cinematographers Jayanan Vincent and Ajayanan Vincent.
