Heavy rush at Basara on the eve of Vasant Panchami Adilabad, February 15 (INN): There was heavy rush on the occasion of Vasant Panchami as devotees thronged Basara to worship Goddess Saraswathi.
Nearly two lakh devotees visited the temple, which is record in recent times. They worshipped Saraswathi, the Goddess of Learning and Knowledge.
As many as 4,000 children have taken to write on slate for the first time on the auspicious day.
