Head Master thrashed for immoral conduct Guntur, April 19 (INN): Angry parents thrashed the headmaster of the government Upper Primary School at Garikapudi, Prathipadu mandal in Guntur district on Tuesday for making immoral advances on some of the students. The angry parents also filed a complaint with the Guntur Rural police against the headmaster on after having marched him there.
The complaint stated that the headmaster used to 'touch' the students and he had continued to do so in spite of repeated display of distaste by his wards.
Matters turned ugly after the students revealed the actions of the headmaster to their parents. The parents accosted the headmaster who in turned did not accept that he had done anything wrong. The already angry parents got even more infuriated and thrashed him before marching him off to the police station.
According to Sub-Inspector Subba Rao, the Head Master was identified as Appa Rao and is aged around 35 years. He has been working in the school since the past decade.
Mr Subba Rao said that the headmaster flatly denied that there was any immoral intent behind his touching the students. He was quoted as saying that the students were like his own children. However, the police registered a case based on the complaint filed by the parents. Further investigations are on.
