Telangana: Conductor jumps down water tank
WARANGAL: K Srinivas (40), an RTC bus conductor, suffered grievous injuries after jumping down from an overhead tank raising Telangana slogans in Nekkonda mandal headquarters on Friday.
He suffered major fractures in his hands, legs and other parts of the body as he plunged from 60 feet. He was shifted to MGM in Warangal but after his condition turned critical, he was taken to the RTC Hospital at Tarnaka in Hyderabad.
Srinivas climbed atop the water tank on the premises of the government school and raised 'Jai Telangana' slogans and soon villagers gathered at the place. They urged Srinivas not to jump down but he paid no heed. Srinivas, who works in Mahabubabad depot, raised Telangana slogans in the hospital also.
