Tickets for Vizag ODI sold out in one hour Visakhapatnam, Nov 29 (INN): The cricket enthusiasts in the port town on Tuesday bee lined to YSR Cricket Stadium, at PM Palem and e-seva counters in the city to purchase the tickets for second one-day international cricket match to be played between India and West Indies scheduled on Dec 2.
To the surprise of Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association, the tickets were sold within an hour after opening of the counters. The cricket buffs bee lined to counters since wee hours and found standing in serpentine queue for long hours.
Apart from 21 e-seva counters for booking tickets, the Association has opened two special counters for the sale of tickets at the YSR Cricket Stadium at PM Palem.
The Association has sold 15,000 tickets in the denomination of Rs 200, Rs 500, Rs 1,000, Rs 1,500, Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000. The association also sold Rs 100 tickets to local cricket clubs and their players. The total capacity of stadium is 27,862.
