RPF nab person extorting money Hyderabad, March 25 (INN): The Railway Protection Force (RFF) has arrested one person who was trying to extort money from passengers at gun point.
According to South Central Railway (SCR), on 23rd March, the RPF Security Control Room at Secunderabad Division received a complaint from a passenger of Train No. 17006 Darbhanga Express stating that one person is threatening co-passengers in the coach for disabled with a pistol and extorting money. The matter was informed to RPF Post/Kazipet who in turn rushed to the train along with Government Railway Police Personnel (GRP) and apprehended the accused by name Manoj Kumar Yadav, S/o Dharam Chand Yadav resident of Achina Village, Dhamini Taluk, Bivani District, Haryana State.
On conducting search the said person was found to be in possession of Rs. 15,000/- which he extorted from Co-Passengers. The Pistol recovered from the culprit found to be a toy pistol. The accused was handed over to Government Railway Police, Kazipet for further action. In this connection Government Railway Police, Kazipet registered a case and took up further investigation.
