261 booked for traffic violations on ORR Hyderabad, April 25 (INN): The Cyberabad Police have booked 261 cases of traffic violation on the Outer Ring Road.
The cases were booked as a part of enforcement from 18th to 24th April. Out of these, 61 were of wrong parking and 200 were of driving on wrong side / entry from wrong side/Dangerous Driving/Lane Violation. The total fine amount collected was Rs.2,08,700/-. As off now, from January 1, 2015 to April 24, a total of 4,150 cases have been booked and a fine amount of Rs. 33,44,200 has been collected from the violators.
People have been requested to adhere to the rules made for Outer Ring Road (ORR) and call on 040 ' 2300 2424 / 8500411111 (Cyberabad Traffic Police Control Room) in case of any emergency.
The Outer Ring Road (ORR) patrolling scheme was launched on January 18, 2014. As a part of this plan four patrolling vehicles have been pressed into service from Peddamberpet to Shamirpet through Shamshabad.
