AIM for Seva grand fund raiser on 20th AIM for Seva(USA) is organising a grand celebration of its 2015 fundraising campaign to raise funds for working towards its objectives. Valmiki's Sundara Kandam from Ramayana - The Signet of Hope will be staged on the occasion. The event will take place in New Jersey on Sunday September 20th, 2015 at 4 PM at the NASH Theater, Raritan Valley Community College at 118 Lamington Road, Branchburg, NJ. The music for this unique production is composed by Neyveli Santhangoplan, choreographed by Anita Guha and the dance performed by the acclaimed Bharatanjali team of dancers.
AIM for Seva, is a movement that addresses the enormous problem of educating the remote tribal children of India in a very innovative way, by building Free Student Homes (FSH) close to Government run schools. At no cost to the parents, FSH provides shelter, access to schools, clothing, medical care, after school supervision and much more.There are over 100 fully-functional FSHs built, 15,000 plus students educated, over 9,000 villages covered under AIM for Seva movement.
"The US donations have played an impactful role. Our nation-wide goal is to raise $1.5M. In New Jersey, we hope to raise $324,000, funds enough to take complete care of 720 students for one year.
