Modi, Naidu, Pawan to share Dais HYDERABAD: BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan would be jointly addressing a series of public meetings in both Telangana and Seemandhra after April 20.
According to sources, as many as three meetings have been planned in Telangana. The meetings will be held in Hyderabad, Nizamabad and Karimnagar. The details are being worked out depending upon the campaign schedules of these leaders. All the three would jointly address these meetings.
Pawan Kalyan has already begun campaigning for the BJP in parts of Karnataka. He participated in public meetings at Raichur and Gulbarga in Karnataka on Tuesday. He also hinted that he plans to canvass for Lok Satta Party chief Jayaprakash Narayan, who is contesting from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency. Pawan would shortly start campaigning in Telangana and Seemandhra.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday confirmed that Narendra Modi, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan would share the dais during public meetings being organised by the party as part of poll campaign in Telangana and Seemandhra. 'All the three leaders would share a common dais and campaign for the alliance candidates,' he said.
He said already there is a wave in favour of BJP-TDP alliance in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states and once Modi and other national leaders begin their campaign the entire scene would change and more people would associate with the party.
